The Vortex HiFi Power Cap Sigma is the latest upgrade to Vortex HiFi information. What do all Caps -including these Power Caps- and all Vortex products accomplish? In two words: harmonization of interference and de-stress. Harmonization  interference means: to alter the spectrum of low and high frequency radiation from the mains. De-stressing means: to prevent interaction of the human body and the senses -including hearing- with this radiation, thereby reducing or eliminating related health problems and symptoms. The measure of these effects may differ substantially, depending on the individual and the local situations of exposure.

Each listening environment constitutes a certain situation of exposure which is experienced depending on the individual. In every situation of exposure the hifi system with all its components, cables, power supplies and wifi facilities constitutes a massive source for all kinds of low and high frequency fields and radiation which influences the quality of perception, in particular hearing. This influence strongly depends on the individual, however, everybody is more or less sensitive to it. The effects of using power conditioners, RF-filters, audio cables, audio chips and anti-static sprays on hearing and vision has clearly demonstrated this.
